Martin serves as the Advisor to the Utah Consular Corps, where he plays a pivotal role in advancing Utah’s position as a hub for international trade, cooperation, and cultural exchange. Known for his relentless work ethic and ability to bring diverse stakeholders together, he has earned a reputation as a "Go-Getter" among colleagues and peers.
His career in diplomacy began early when he founded the Salt Lake Diplomacy Society, an initiative that laid the groundwork for the Utah Consular Corps’ Student Leadership Council, launched in 2023. Martin's impact on international engagement expanded further in 2024 through his collaboration with the Honorary Consul of Spain, leading to the establishment of the Asociación de Españoles en Utah, an organization dedicated to fostering a stronger Spanish community in the state.
In addition to his advisory role, Martin serves as V. Senior Assistant to the Honorary Consuls of the Czech Republic, Latvia, and Japan, offering critical support in consular affairs, cultural initiatives, and diplomatic engagements. His commitment to service was recognized with the Lieutenant Governor’s Volunteer Service Award, a testament to his contributions to Utah’s diplomatic and civic landscape.
